Namchow Group Sustainability Policy

Under the leadership of Chairman Chen Feilong, Namchow Group embodies a people-oriented spirit, inheriting traditions to create purposeful, differentiated innovation. This innovation is implemented to foster shared goals and values, aiming to benefit consumers and contribute to humanity. The company strives to create a win-win situation for customers, consumers, industries, society, local communities, and the Namchow Group itself.

Sustainability and ESG Committee

The Namchow Group is responsible for promoting the group's sustainable development policies through a committee. The board of directors serves as the highest supervisory body for this organization. The committee chairman is appointed by the general manager. Under the committee, there are subcommittees for the China region, Taiwan region, and Thailand region, each with four groups: Business Governance, Product Responsibility, Social Relations, and Environmental Sustainability. Committee members for each group are managers or directors at or above the assistant general manager level, responsible for related issues and the implementation of related development policies and execution strategies.

Namchow Group Sustainable Development Goals SDGs

Facing the rising international concept of sustainability and increased climate awareness, through in-depth discussions and focus at SDG workshops starting in December 2018, top executives from each business unit proposed future sustainable development policy goals. In 2019, 10 initiatives corresponding to the company's sustainability goals were identified as guiding principles for driving the company's sustainable development. The Nan Bei Group's short, medium, and long-term policy directions and goals were also established.

Materiality Topic Matrix

Namchow Group values the voices of diverse stakeholders, understands and identifies their concerns, and simultaneously responds to their expectations. Through questionnaires, we assess the issues of concern to major stakeholders and their impact on economic, environmental, and social aspects, initially filtering out material topics.

Regarding the economic, environmental, and social sustainability trends and issues of concern to the aforementioned stakeholders, we have identified 16 material sustainability issues for this year, based on the results of the previous year's identification, and in reference to the latest trends and issues. The ESG working group considered past stakeholder feedback and factors affecting the company's operational development.
