[Reporter Xu Lizhen / Taipei] Royal Taste (7791), which owns brands such as "Duro Ya" ice cream and "Nanchiao Sanuki" frozen cooked noodles, held its listing ceremony at the Taiwan Stock Exchange today. Royal Taste, the "golden hen" of Nanchiao (1702), was listed today at NT$72 per share. Nanchiao Chairman Chen Fei-lung pointed out that Royal Taste products have a good market share in Taiwan. With ice cream and frozen cooked noodles as its twin engines, the company will continue to develop new products in the future, with the goal of expanding into the global market.

Royal Food Co. (7791), which owns brands like "Doughle Royal" ice cream and "Namchow Sanuki" frozen udon noodles, held its listing ceremony at the Taiwan Stock Exchange today. The company provided this information.

 

Royal Host is a subsidiary of the large oil and fat manufacturer Nanqiao (1702), and is also Nanqiao's golden goose. Nanqiao Chairman Chen Feilong and his children, including his second son and Nanqiao Vice Chairman Chen Zhengwen, and his daughter and Huaqiang Industrial Chairman Chen Yiwen, attended today's listing ceremony.

 

Royal Coca-Cola went public today at NT$72 per share, with the stock price surging to NT$84.5 during trading, marking a gain of over 171%.Royal Coca-Cola reported revenue of NT$1.268 billion for the first half of this year, with profit attributable to owners of the parent company at approximately NT$285 million—a year-over-year increase of over 20.31%—and earnings per share of NT$4.08.

 

Chen Feilong stated that an ice cream business has long-term development potential. A key ingredient in ice cream is fat, which is also the crucial element for Nanqiao's diversified business development. Regarding the future development of flash-frozen noodles, as the proportion of the global population whose staple food is rice is decreasing year by year, noodle consumption is continuously increasing. This trend is not unique to Taiwan and Japan but is occurring in other countries as well. He is very optimistic about the flash-frozen noodle market, possessing special technology and both B2B and B2C channels. Royal Koushi products have a good market share in Taiwan, and the company will continue to develop new products in the future, with the goal of expanding into the global market.

 

Chou Ming-fen, Chairwoman of Royal Koko, stated that the company has two core business segments: ice cream as a dessert and frozen cooked noodles as a staple food. Ice cream accounts for approximately 70% to 80% of revenue.The company’s brands include Du Laoye Ice Cream and Kuangshi Qipai, and it also provides soft-serve ice cream contract manufacturing services to clients such as FamilyMart, IKEA, and McDonald’s. The other core business is the production and sales of frozen cooked noodles, which account for approximately 20% to 30% of revenue.

 

Zhou Mingfen stated that Royal Coca-Cola has a dual engine, and in the future, directly serving consumers in the retail market, or serving catering clients, can mutually support revenue generation.
