Manufacturing Business

In addition to bulk raw material procurement, to ensure suppliers provide safe and secure products, we require suppliers to obtain ISO (International Organization for Standardization), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system, and US AIB certifications.
Certifications such as unified inspection standards, HALAL certification, or FSSC food safety management systems are obtained, with some suppliers also achieving international certifications like RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
For direct and indirect raw materials and packaging materials required by each production base for the manufacturing or packaging of various products, procurement units in each respective region shall establish procurement operation management procedures through raw material risk assessment and supplier risk assessment, in accordance with local laws and regulations, to ensure that the procedures are legal and compliant, and to implement food safety and traceability management.

Shanghai Paulaner, when screening and evaluating suppliers, primarily considers issues such as supplier qualifications, integrity, product quality, stable supply, and reasonable prices. Based on the requirements of the restaurant kitchen, market research is conducted for the needed goods (principle of comparing three companies). Product quality, price advantages, supply capability, and the company's reputation are compared, and then suitable suppliers are selected. For Paulaner's 40 main suppliers, the National Enterprise Information Registration System is accessed annually to verify the supplier's credit status for that year, checking for administrative penalties or if they have been blacklisted as seriously violating integrity enterprises.
