Notably, food stock king De Mai (1264) has just signed a cooperation agreement with a French company, exclusively distributing two premium brands, "Elle & Vire" and "LESCURE," into Taiwan. Nan Chiao (1702) has also launched its "NEBOS" top-tier baking oil series, prominently featuring Clean Label certification, aggressively targeting opportunities in the high-end baking market.
According to official statistics and market estimates, the domestic baking industry has an annual output value of approximately 60 to 80 billion yuan. In addition to traditional bakers, large retailers have also been actively vying for a share of this market in recent years. As upstream suppliers, Demae and Nan Qiao are also expected to benefit from this growth.
Demae General Manager Wu Wenqin stated that the introduction of products from two major brands under the French dairy manufacturer SAVENCIA Group will initially focus on promotion in bakery and catering channels. In the future, expanding into retail channels will not be ruled out, and he is confident that this will contribute to Demae's performance growth next year.
In addition to introducing new brands, Wu Wenqin also revealed that the company is starting to develop new distribution channels, such as hand-shaken beverage stores, by applying baking raw materials to beverages. Additionally, the company recently completed the establishment of a new bagel factory and has new factory investment plans for the coming year. With synchronized growth in both mainland China and Taiwan markets, he believes the company's operations in 2020 will be "cautiously optimistic."
Nanchiao recently unveiled its latest "NEBOS" range of baking fats and oils for this year. This is the top-tier baking fat and oil line under Nanchiao. The series comprises six products, all of which have obtained Clean Label certification. Furthermore, they are currently the most advanced baking fats and oils in Asia that comply with international regulations, which will assist clients in further expanding their international export markets.

It can be used for everything from gifts, cakes, desserts, Western pastries to traditional Chinese pastries, and its applications are very wide. It is also expected to become one of the next growth drivers for Nan Qiao Oils business.
