Sustainability and ESG Committee<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Namchow Group has established a committee responsible for promoting the Group\u2019s sustainable development policy. The Board of Directors is the highest supervisory unit for this organization. The chairperson of the committee is the General Manager of Namchow. The committee oversees several regional sub-committees in Mainland China, Taiwan, and Thailand. Each sub-committee is divided into four sections, namely: business governance, product responsibility, social relations, and environmental sustainability. Each sub\ufffecommittee is headed by an assistant vice president, director, or higher-ranking executive. Responsibilities include devising policy responses and action plans for relevant issues.<\/p>

The Sustainability and ESG Committee holds meetings periodically every year to discuss economic, environmental, and social issues related to corporate governance. Depending on the significance of the topics, regular and irregular reports are made to the Chairman or the Board of Directors, and relevant decisions are recorded in the meeting minutes. The Board of Directors\u2019 secretariat tracks these decisions and reports them in the next board meeting.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Faced with the rise of the demand for sustainable practices and the emergence of climate risks, we have engaged in depth dis\ufffecussions at SDGs workshops with a focus on relevant issues since December 2018. The top executives of each business group put forth future sustainable development goals, and we identified 10 corresponding SDGs in 2019 as a guiding principle for our company\u2019s sustainable development, setting Namchow Group\u2019s short-, medium-, and long-term policy directions and goals<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Identification of Material Topics<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Following the four-stage materiality identification process of the GRI guidelines (2021) and the AA 1000 accountability principle, the Nan Chiau Group identifies material themes based on four principles: inclusivity, materiality, responsiveness, and impact. The significance of the positive and negative impacts of the operational process on the economy, environment, and people (including human rights) is assessed using the evaluation principle of whether these impacts are material. This assessment serves as the basis for sustainable development strategy planning and the foundation for the information disclosed in this report.<\/p>

Regarding the economic, environmental, and social (including human rights) concerns raised by the aforementioned stakeholders, the company, based on the results of its most recent assessment and referencing the latest international trends and issues, while also reviewing past stakeholder feedback, the characteristics of its industry, and the potential impact of these issues on the company's operations, financial performance, and risk management, selected and confirmed 16 key sustainability issues for 2025 as the basis for the company's subsequent sustainability strategy planning, management, and information disclosure.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
